But we did. Thanks to all of you.
This morning, we surpassed (by four) the 500 mark. Five hundred and four (504) people have purchased a Monforte CSA subscription. This is huge for us. Really, really big.
There have been plenty of nay-sayers. Folks who’ve said we’ll never get 500 people to subscribe to our CSA program for a new dairy. Their negativity never brought us down. We never wavered in our confidence. We just knew there are plenty of people out there who would want to join us in creating something new and wonderful. People who share our beliefs.
We believe
... in food that's good, clean, and fair
... in sustainable farming
... in paying farmers a fair price for their product
... in transparency and accountability
... in small – it's beautiful and important and maybe better in the long run
... in cheeses.
Most importantly, though, you believe in us – in what we stand for and what we are trying to accomplish. All you five hundred and four, beautiful, generous, pro-active people.
