Construction seems to be moving at speed at the dairy. Last Friday, the floor had been jackhammered and guys were laying down the pipe.
When I arrive around noon today, the doors were wide open and the ceiling fans were on to help circulate the air.
A path of freshly-poured concrete crisscrossed the floor.

I think I caught the guys during lunch because there was no one there. Earlier Ruth said the place was crawling with construction workers and engineers. Cheese consultant Neville McNaughton has come up from Missouri for a few days to contribute his expertise as well.
Even the front of the building is getting tarted up. There's the beginng of planting beds close to the doors. Eventually we'll have herb and flower gardens and a place for people to just sit and relax or eat a water buffalo milk ice cream cone. (We gotta come up with a snappier name for this. Any ideas?)

You know you're in a construction zone when.....
