It’s a little late but heartfelt none-the-less. Hope you had a special time with family and friends.
My Christmas holidays were filled with thoughts about sending out the vouchers to the over 600 CSA subscribers who’ve chosen this option for redeeming cheese. Not really a numbers gal, the logistics of recording who got which number series, recording the numbers in all the files, but particularly not screwing up was causing me more than a bit of stress. I kept seeing the mailroom orientation scene in The Hudsucker Proxy.
But thanks to the help of Daniel Szoller, Ruth’s eldest son, who frankly did the job single-handedly (Thanks Daniel, you’re solid!) the vouchers got out okay. By the time you read this, some of you may have already received them. Take a really close look; you’ll see little sheep in the background. Let us know how you like them.
From now on, anyone who subscribes and chooses to redeem their subscription with vouchers will get them in the mail along with their “welcome to the flock” letter.
A note about the cheese: We still have some Toscano Ruth is selling at the St. Lawrence Market on Saturdays. You can use your vouchers for that.
