Sprucing up for the Hootenanny

by Maureen Argon 22. April 2010 10:30

When I visited the dairy today there was a lot of work going on.

Daniel, Ruth's son was working on the interior of what will be the retail space.

Mary Carrington, our retail store manager has picked out the colours – a beautiful buttery yellow. The baker and cheese border that used to be at the top of the walls is gone. (Thankfully!)

After weeks of that space being loaded with baker's racks, it was nice to be in all that space.

Mary has also done some more digging in the the front garden space and has created some raised beds. Herbs will be planted here, as the area get lots of sun.

Perhaps most exciting of all, the Monforte M logo, originally designed by Desmond Healy and re-interpreted by Glenn Elliott, with all the shovels and hoes our subscribers have sent to us, has been mounted.

Nice, eh?
